MUSCLES MOST USED

GOLF MASSAGE CONCENTRATES ON RELAXING THE BACK, HAMSTRINGS, HIP FLEXORS, SHOULDERS, AND WRISTS TO CREATE A BIGGER SHOULDER TURN, BETTER HIP AND BACK FLEXIBILITY, AND A MORE POWERFUL TORQUE AND HIGHER FINISH

Golfers are prone to specific injuries resulting from the repetitive nature and intensity of the sport. Our expert understands the unique challenges you face and can provide targeted relief for common golf-related injuries such as golfer's elbow, lower back strain, shoulder impingement, and hip flexor tightness. Through a personalized neuromuscular massage approach, I  will work to reduce pain, speed up recovery, and prevent future injuries, ensuring you stay in the game for the long run.

  • Golfer's Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis): This injury involves inflammation or microtears in the tendons on the inside of the elbow. It can result from repetitive swinging motions and can cause pain and discomfort during and after golf.

  • Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis): Despite its name, tennis elbow can also occur in golfers. It affects the tendons on the outside of the elbow and can cause pain and weakness, making it difficult to grip the club effectively.

  • Lower Back Strain: The rotational movements and the repetitive nature of the golf swing can put strain on the lower back muscles. This can lead to muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain in the lower back area.

  • Shoulder Impingement: Golfers often experience shoulder impingement, where the tendons and bursa in the shoulder become compressed or irritated. This can cause pain, weakness, and limited range of motion, affecting the golf swing.

  • Rotator Cuff Injuries: The rotator cuff muscles are essential for stabilizing the shoulder during the golf swing. Overuse or improper swing mechanics can lead to strains, tears, or inflammation in the rotator cuff, resulting in pain and decreased shoulder function.

  • Wrist Tendinitis: Golfers may develop tendinitis in the wrists due to the repetitive motion of gripping and swinging the club. This can cause pain, swelling, and difficulty with wrist mobility, impacting the golf swing and overall performance.

  • Hip Flexor Strain: The hip flexor muscles play a vital role in generating power during the golf swing. Overuse or improper mechanics can lead to strains or tightness in these muscles, causing pain and limited hip mobility.

  • Knee Injuries: The rotational forces generated during the golf swing can put stress on the knees, leading to injuries such as meniscus tears, ligament sprains, or patellar tendinitis. These injuries can result in pain, swelling, and reduced stability.
